WBB AND MBB HOST MEDIA DAY ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2017

GOODLAND, KS – The office of Sports Information at Northwest Kansas Techincal College will hold its annual media day on Friday, Sept. 29th at 3 p.m. at the Larry Keirns Athletic Center on the Campus of Northwest Tech. All media outlets are welcomed and the event is open to the public. Fans, alumni, students, faculty/staff and spectators will have the opportunity to ask questions about the Mavericks 2017-2018 upcoming season.

Recently, head basketball coach Brittany Christian was named the WBCA Junior College National Assistant Coach of the Year. While head coach Jeremy Johnson has led the Mavericks to their first 20-win season. 

The Lady Mavericks will look to carry their winning momentum to the 2017-2018 season after finishing 28-2 last season. The Mavericks look to carry on another 20-win or better record this 2017-2018 season.
