Maverick Basketball is headed to the NJCAA Region 6 Tournament

The Northwest Kansas Tech Mavericks basketball team will travel to Arkansas City, Kansas, Thursday, March 2nd, 2017 to take on Cowley Community College in the first round of the NJCAA Region 6 Tournament. Tip is set for 7:30pm CT.

The Mavericks enter the game coming off their second largest win of the season, 100-63 versus Adams State JV. The Mavericks, led by Head Coach Jeremy Johnston have had much success behind sophomores Eddie Reese and Tim Graham, and the sophomore class has continued to propel the team. In the Mavericks last matchup, sophomore night, Kambrion Dickerson gave the Mavericks 21 points and 9 rebounds going 8-12 FG, 2-5 3PT, and 3-6 from the charity stripe.
