First meet of the year is a success

The Northwest Tech Track team had a great day at the Butch Reynolds Invitational Track meet in El Dorado, KS. We entered a combined 19 men's and women's events and set or broke 18 school records! This is only the beginning for the Track team. We are looking for major improvements after Spring Break. Our next meet is March 27-28 at Fort Hays State University. The following people participated yesterday (bold type indicates new school record):

Kord Albers- 400 hurdles, 4x100, 4x400

Ace Arteaga- 3000 steeplechase, 800 run

Jordan Ball- pole vault, 4x400

Jameslee Banning- 3000 steeplechase

Taeler Bowen- long jump, 400 dash, 4x100, 4x400

Patrick Brown- triple jump

Anthony Farrington II- long jump, 100, 4x100

Daniel Ramis- high jump, long jump, 400 dash, 4x100, 4x400

Adam Tate- shot put, discus, hammer

Tyler Trout- shot put, discus

Noni Buckins- long jump, 100 dash, 200 dash

Linda Esquival- 800 run, 1500 run

Jordan Knitig- pole vault, 200 dash
