Shooting Sports Compete at Barton Foundation Shoot

Northwest Tech Shooting Sports finished their last competition of the year at the Barton Community College Foundation Sporting Clays Shoot in Great Bend, KS, on Sunday. There were over 200 shooters at the event with a total of 63 teams. The Mavericks had four competing teams with team Water Tower placing 1st, NWTSAA placing 7th, CTS placing 9th, and CCM placing 28th. 

 

Sporting Clays Individual Results:

Lewis Class 1: Wyatt Johnson tied for 3rd with a score of 96, Jason Colby placed 5th with a score of 95, and Brayden Hancock placed 13th with a score of 92.

Lewis Class 2: Head Coach Melvin Crow placed 24th with a score of 90 and Assistant Coach Jonah McClung placed 44th with a score of 87.

Lewis Class 3: Edan White placed 49th with a score of 86, Jarek Crow placed 50th with a score of 86, Ethan Zerr placed 62nd with a score of 85, Teague Morford placed 63rd with a score of 85, and Jacob Schwarz placed 69th with a score 84.

Lewis Class 4: Ayden Orcutt placed 77th with a score of 83.

Lewis Class 5: Heath Koch placed 102nd with a score of 79.

Lewis Class 6: Jayden Serl placed 129th with a score of 75.
