Boyd to join 2015-16 Maverick Track

Northwest Tech is proud to welcome Tyler Boyd from Burlington, Colo., to the Maverick Track & Field team as a thrower. He will join the Electrical Program. For Burlington High School, Tyler was a Colorado Class 2A State Champion in Shot Put, and received 6th in Discus both his junior and senior years. Coach Ben Foust said, "Tyler improved a great deal his senior year. He knows how to work hard. He knows what it's like to be a champion."
