Maverick wrestlers going to Nationals

Saturday February 13, the Northwest Tech Wrestling team was in Chanute, Kansas for their national qualifier. 6 wrestlers left there having qualified for nationals, with 5 of them placing in the top 3.

Levi Maes, Brice Mason and Adam Tate made the finals.  Tate and Mason both lost in the finals to the #1 kid in the nation in their weight.  Victor Haro and Jake Wilson placed 3rd in their respective weights and Dominique Evans also qualified for nationals.

These young men will leave next Wednesday to represent the college at the national tournament in Council Bluffs, Iowa.  Wish them well if you see them.
