Women's Wrestling Compete at Maverick Open
Northwest Tech Women's Wrestling competed at the Maverick Open in Grand Junction, Colorado, this past weekend. Citori Bosserman (116lbs) placed 4th, going (2-2) on the day. Rosa Campos also competed, going (0-2).
"It was a good tournament with a number of highly touted wrestlers," commented Coach Tate. "Our girls competed well and with lots of intensity. Rosa's two losses were to the eventual champion and 5th-place wrestlers. Citori did very well in her first college tournament; unfortunately she had to forfeit out of the 3rd place match due to injury."
Women's Wrestling will return to competition on November 11th at the Waldorf Open in Forest City, Iowa.
