Women's Wrestling Compete at Grand View Open

Northwest Tech Women's Wrestling traveled to Des Moines, IA, on Saturday where they competed in the Grand View Open with schools from across the Midwest and multiple divisions of women's wrestling.

Trackwrestling Results

"The team competed well but did not have the expected results," commented Coach Colothdian Tate. "Our athletes went up against some of the best wrestlers at their weights early in the tournament. Everyone wrestled hard and represented the college well. We are looking forward to more growth and success at our next meet."

"I would also like to mention that Harley has only been on the team for three weeks after last competing two years ago in high school. She wrestled hard and competed like she had no layoff. We are proud of her for competing."
