Bio

Bailey Honne is entering her first year with the Lady Mavericks Softball Program and is excited to build on the culture in Goodland.

Before coming to Northwest Tech, Honne worked with Stacie Chambers and RKDA Mavericks Softball as the organization’s pitching coach and assisted with mental training. During the 2021 spring season, Bailey was an Assistant Varsity Softball Coach at Tonopah Valley High School.

She worked alongside Christina Walker and Ed Anderson, where they produced the most regional players in program history. Prior to TVHS, Honne spent three seasons with the Lady Knights Softball Program at Westview High School in Avondale, Arizona. During that time, she also served as the Head Swim and Dive coach for the 2019-2020 season. Coach Honne & her staff were able to take two swimmers to the regional meet, where both placed in all of their events.

Before her coaching career, Honne graduated from Ottawa University in Surprise, Arizona. Bailey was the first hometown signee in program history. In addition to a BA in Exercise Science from Ottawa, Honne earned her Associate’s Degree while pitching at Scottsdale Community College.

Bailey & her partner James, originally from Hays, Kansas, are excited to join the Goodland community, Inspiring softball players to come together on and off the field with patience, persistence, and positivity.
