The Lady Mavericks traveled down to Liberal, Kansas to take on the 8-3 Lady Saints of Seward County. The Mavericks were out two of their starters, Lauryn Vieira and Yverline Da Silva. The Mavericks shot only 26% from the field and hit on only 3-19 from beyond the arc. The Saints' points came from four players scoring in double figures, led by Sierra Morrow with 14 points. The Mavericks were led by a pair of 9 point scorers Alonna Harvey-Williams and Aminata Seck. The Mavericks forced 15 turnovers but committed 31 of their own as they lost by a score of 40-92.

The Mavericks will look to bounce back Saturday, as they travel down to Garden City to take on the Lady Broncbusters, 12:00 pm MST. time.
