Barksdale joins Wrestling coaching staff

The Northwest Tech wrestling program is excited to announce the arrival of new Assistant Coach Arsenia Barksdale. Coach Barksdale joins the Maverick family after serving the last 3 seasons at NCAA Division II Adams State. While with the Grizzly Bears, he helped coach numerous All-Americans and one National Champion.

Barksdale was a wrestler at Adams State from 2006-2010. As a Grizzly Bear, he was a 4-time All-American and a 2009 NCAA Division II National Champion in the 125 weight class. Originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, he was a Virginia High School State Champion and NHSCA National Champion at Kempsville High School.

As an Assistant Coach for the Mavericks, Barksdale joins Head Coach Mike Sebaaly and Assistant Coach Butch Smith.
