Mavericks Compete at WT Spring Break Open
Northwest Tech Track and Field kicked off their outdoor season on Saturday, traveling down to West Texas A&M University to compete in the WT Spring Break Open.

In the Men's 100m Dash the Mavs had five runners compete with Kendrick Jones leading the way in 11th place with a time of 10.84 seconds. Kobey Taylor placed 19th with a time of 11.05 seconds, Tyrik Edwards placed 31st with a time of 11.49 seconds, and Victor Karmee placed 32nd with at time of 11.54. Also competing was freshman Isaac Bisaso finishing 34th. In the 110m Hurdles, Jerry Phillipee competed, placing 2nd with a time of 14.57 seconds. in the 400m Dash, Kendrick Jones placed 16th with a time of 51.29 seconds. In the 400m Hurdles, Jarbirey Carter placed 7th with a time of 1:04.69.
Looking ahead, the Mavs' next competition will be this weekend at the FHSU Spring Invite hosted by Fort Hays State University.
