
Shooting Sports Compete at NCTA Invite
North Platte, Neb.– Fort Hays Tech Northwest Shooting Sports competed at the NCTA Invite over the weekend. The Tigers shot the following categories: Trap, Skeet, and Sporting Clays. Two athletes set new personal bests: Brynn Blanc in Skeet and Sporting and Izak Venegas in Skeet.
Brynn Blanc also placed 2nd high overall in the women's division with 207 targets. She placed 2nd in Trap, scoring 65; 2nd in Skeet, scoring 69; and 2nd in Sporting Clays, scoring 73.

FHNW Shooting Sports' next competition will be at the ACUI Clay Target Championships from March 17th through the 22nd, with the meet being held in San Antonio, Texas. They will have a send-off on Friday March 14th at 5:00 PM in the Sharp Administration Building.
