Tigers Compete at West Texas Relays
Fort Hays Tech Northwest Track & Field kicked off their outdoor season last weekend, competing at the West Texas Relays in Canyon, Texas.
Sprints & Field Events:
In the 100m dash, Damin Darlington competed, placing 21st with a time of 11.01 seconds. Isaac Bisaso and Yan Dologuin also competed, finishing 41st and 42nd with times of 12.55 and 12.67, respectively.
Mikela Coombs placed 16th in the women's 200m dash, breaking the school record with a time of 25.33 seconds.
In the 400 meters, Maciej Bachlaj finished 24th, with a time of 53.41 seconds.
Long & Middle Distance:
In the 1500 meters, Lucky Maila placed 7th, with a time of 4:10.43.
FHNW Track & Field's will be competing at two different meets on Friday, with long distance traveling to Emporia State while short distance travels to Garden City for the Broncbuster Invite.
